7th Annual Beaver Valley Banked Slalom Saturday March 23, 2019 in Memory of Jackie Snarr

Entry is open to all riders on first come first serve basis. Riders must pre-register. Last year’s event sold out with 250 entries, so sign up early!

Entry Fee: $45

Lift Tickets: $45 (Can also be purchased at this special rate for Friends & Family)

All riders will need to complete an event waiver form on the event day. Riders age 18 and under require a parent or guardian to sign their event waiver. Riders require a helmet to participate.

This is a freeride (soft boots only) format event! The best of two runs counts. Race your bros in one of the following age categories:

Groms 10-14

Young Guns: 15-19

Almost Washed: 20-29

Masters: 30-39

Legends: 40-49

Immortals: 50+

Event Format

The Beaver Valley Banked Slalom is open to snowboarders only. The fastest rider to the bottom of the Banked Slalom course wins. Riders will be given 2 timed runs on the course and the best time will be used in the final results. Riders will be disqualified if gates are missed, so hiking up to pass a gate will be permitted. Riders must cross the finish on a flat base to record a finish time. Finish line ollies or tricks may results in a missed time and disqualification.

Awards will be provided to the top three times in each age category (for both men and women), as well as the overall fastest time of the day (for both male & female fastest) and the top three fastest Industry/Shop riders presented by Union Bindings.

Event Schedule

8am-9:30am Registration in the Cafe in Main Clubhouse * PLEASE DO NOT BE LATE – REG WILL CLOSE AT 9:30am TO GET THE START LIST TO THE TOP ON TIME

9:30am Course Inspection on True North

10:15am Riders Meeting at the top of the course True North

10:30am Banked Slalom Start (1st runs followed by 2nd runs)

Have fun riding Beaver Valley Park in between and after your runs!

11am-1pm Mini Banked Course 10 & Under (categories are 7 and Under & 8-10)

11:30am-1pm Cash BBQ on the North Deck Main Clubhouse

1pm-3:30pm Après featuring ‘The Foremast Jacks’ band presented by MadJack Beer Garden, Fundraising prize draws on North Deck of base lodge

2pm Fundraising Auction Closes

3pm Cage Keys can be attempted on the Deck by the Podium

3:30pm Awards & 50/50 Draw Ticket Winner Announced at the Podium
