Echoes of The Sacred - Palyul 2018 Toronto Tour

Posted 3 years ago by Toronto Charities / 113 views

Palyul Pema Mani Center will be hosting fundraising events, which attracts hundreds of patrons from all generations for unforgettable days of music, entertainment, mini bazaars, silent auction, empowerments, amazing food and eye-opening educational experiences.

We are looking to purchase a retreat land close to Toronto. The funds collected throughout the event will be used to support purchase of the retreat land, cover the cost of retreat land programming for on-going dharma activities, annual retreats and connecting with spiritual lamas.

His Holiness Karma Kuchen Rinpoche is the 12th and the current head of Palyul Nyingma School of Tibetan Buddhism. We are honored to invite him to visit Toronto and give blessings, teachings and empowerments.

On Saturday October 6th, His Holiness will bestow Norgyunma Empowerment (Stream of Gems). The practice of the Bodhisattva Yellow Tara brings wealth and prosperity, both materially and spiritually.

On Sunday October 7th, His Holiness will bestow Amitayus Empowerment (Boundless Life). “Limitless Life Buddha” or Amitayus is the symbol of the Deathless state, the perfection of wisdom, compassion and good fortune. This empowerment brings long life, wisdom and good fortune.

Multicultural events and Mini Bazaar

There will be two jam-packed nights of fun, music, dance, cultural performances, food and festivities planned for all to enjoy.

There will also be an opportunity to explore cultural arts and crafts at the mini bazaar throughout the two days.
