golf FORE youth to thrive

golf FORE youth to thrive, golf, eat and laugh while giving sa good kid a break they need desperately.

Everyday in the city of Toronto over 136,000 young people are at risk of some form of mental distress, such as depression, loneliness, or self-harm. The root causes are just as numerous: bullying, abuse, addiction, poverty are but a few. All too many of these youth suffer alone, some out of fear, others because of the absence of a caring adult, and still others, because they just don’t know what to do.

Without fail, year after year for the past 104 years, YouthLink (formerly Big Sisters of Toronto) counsels and provides vital programming for regrettably only a fraction of these deprived and victimized youth. There is hope but unfortunately not enough funds are currently available to service the numbers of youth in need.

Recently, I decided to take a break from less important things like material-based items and focus my talents/experience in a better direction, so I can “pay it forward” by dedicating the next two years of my work life to making a positive contribution. I am raising money needed to fund the programs these youth require.

I’ve changed my career path in order to work full time to oversee online marketing and fundraising to help pay for the vital programs for the most desperate and neglected youth.

On behalf of the neediest and poorest children and youth in the GTA, I ask for your support.

Please take a moment to remember the thousands of young people who are alone, troubled, with no where to go and nowhere to turn for help except for YouthLink.
