MediaCom's Hack to Give Back: Tech the Halls with The Salvation Army
Posted 3 years ago by Toronto Charities / 82 views
Salvation Army’s Christmas Kettles are a hallmark of the holidays. Every year, more than 2,000 Kettles can be found across Canada – in malls, community centres and other public places. MediaCom’s Hack to Give Back is hosting its first annual hackathon, “Tech the Halls with Salvation Army”. We are asking you to ideate and hack a digital solution that makes on-the-go donations easy in an increasingly cashless society. An opportunity to demonstrate innovation and creativity, this hackathon will help you make your mark as technological and strategic leader!
*Please read the Official Rules & Terms document prior to registration.
We’re looking for teams of four to compete against one another. There are a limited number of spots available for this event (cap of 10 teams). We are expecting a large number of applicants to register, and will be going through a selection process of identifying and vetting qualified participants by using a screening question. When registering, please note all of the names of the team members, and whether or not you are representing an organization/institution.
