Posted 3 years ago by Toronto Charities / 53 views

Project Autism – York Region is going on a field trip to the Real Canadian Superstore in Aurora.

Participants will follow a Registered Dietitian through the aisles of your Real Canadian Superstore® and learn to make healthier food choices. Participants will discover the importance of a balanced meal, the nutrients provided by the four food groups and the benefits to their body.

Participants will also get to enjoy a cooking class where they will create a main dish and a side dish. These dishes have yet to be determined.

Cost is $10 plus tax per participant. This is the amount charged by RCSS for the cooking class portion of our field trip.

Parent or support person must attend. There is no transfer of care.
