Sending it for Sarah is back for another year. The GIRLS ONLY ride day will return to Blue Mountain Resort.

Our goal is to introduce new girls to the world of action sports each year in a fun and positive environment, while honouring the progression of the sport. Progression and Fun are the goals of the day, but it is a fundraiser for the Sarah Burke Foundation to date, we have raised $21,000 for the foundation.

Sarah was a trailblazer, a pioneer of her sport and an inspiration to thousands of women. Every woman in freestyle skiing owes something to Sarah; she fought hard for equality and proved to the world that women deserve a place on the half-pipe and slope style. Without Sarah, Women’s Halfpipe Skiing would have never been in the X Games or the Olympics.

In the fourth year, we have nother Roxy Ambassador spot is up for grabs and we hope to raise $10,000 for the foundation.

We will have the NEVER EVER Category for those who have never been on ski’s or snowboards. Those who have been on skis or snowboards, will be grouped into categories based on discipline and abililites. We are having a cateogry for those girls ages 5-10 who want a fun girls only day (Terrain Park experience not necessary, but basic ski/snowboard skills are). For parents of the riders, we have a fun ride program only – that will allow you to take part in the yoga, but ride with your fellow ladies if you’re not ready to “send it” in the terrain park.
