The Schomberg Country Run is a gorgeous country 5k/1k run/walk/wheel dedicated to clean water in indigenous communities in Ontario. To learn more about this clean water initiative http://www.anglicanparishoflloydtown.com/schomberg-country-run
RACE DAY INFO:
Same route as last year! Starting and finishing at St. Mary Magdalene’s out through the rolling hills to the hamlet of Lloydtown. It is a timed out and back. Free race t-shirts with paid entries only. There will be post run refreshments plus prizes.
The 1k fun run/walk will begin at 9am. Strollers, dogs, walkers, wheelchairs – all are welcome!
The 5k run will begin at 9:30
Free registration for entrants with sponsorship amounts of +100 for 5k and +50 for 1k
Can be picked up at St. Mary Magdalene’s on race morning from 8-8:45am
VOLUNTEERS: Volunteers can register and we will contact you
CHEQUES: Please make all registration cheques payable to “Parish of Lloydtown”
DONATIONS: Please make cheques payable to “P.W.R.D.F. – Pikangikum Project” These can be mailed to 116 Church St. Schomberg ON L0G 1T0 and a tax receipt will be mailed to you. You can also hand in donations at the race.
