Youth Unconference on Philanthropy in Canada

part of the PFC Conference 2018’s ‘Youth Track’, presented by PwC

At last year’s PFC Symposium in Montreal, 50+ young foundation trustees, staff, and grantees came together to discuss their shared role in the future of Canadian philanthropy. The energy of the group flowed far beyond this initial 3-hour gathering.

This year, we are excited to once again convene, connect, and amplify the diverse voices of youth (~15-35 years old) who are active within, or actively engaging with, the Canadian philanthropic sector. Building on last year’s dynamic gathering, we aim to create an inclusive space for participants to connect and learn across their areas of experience and expertise. We look forward to cultivating shared community, growing together, and emerging with an updated set of collective goals for how youth can be drivers of change in Canadian philanthropy.

Like last year, the Youth Unconference is inclusive, free of charge, and includes entry to the opening plenary panel of The PFC Conference on October 16, 5pm, thanks to our generous co-host, The PFC. Tickets are limited, register early.

Youth Unconference attendees are eligible to register for the full PFC Conference at the One Day price! To register, check the eligibility criteria to make sure you are eligible, then contact PFC at lpinsonneault@pfc.ca to get a confirmation. You will then be able to register directly here. Spots are limited so register soon!
