351 Silver Star Air Cadet Squadron operates an aerospace education and leadership training program for youth ages 12 to 18 in Markham and the Greater Toronto Area. The squadron provides hands-on instruction in aviation, flight theory, and air force history through ground school classes and flight training experiences. Members learn discipline, teamwork, and leadership skills while gaining exposure to career paths in aviation and aerospace fields. The program combines classroom instruction with practical activities, including visits to air bases and opportunities to experience flying in actual aircraft. As part of the Air Cadet League of Canada, the squadron prepares young people for potential military service while developing confident, responsible citizens through structured mentorship and skill-building.
