8 Globemaster Squadron's Sponsoring Committee supports the Air Cadet League of Canada by providing local youth in Richmond Hill and surrounding communities with military aviation training and leadership development. Through ground school instruction, flight training opportunities, and cadet corps activities, the organization teaches discipline, citizenship, and technical skills to young people aged 12 to 18.
