Abuse Never Becmes Us (A.N.B.U)

Abuse Never Becomes Us provides counselling, support groups, and advocacy services for survivors of domestic violence and abuse in Pickering and the surrounding GTA. The organization offers trauma-informed care through trained counsellors who work with individuals and families to process their experiences and rebuild their lives after relationship violence. A.N.B.U also operates peer-led support groups where survivors can connect with others who understand their journey, as well as practical resources like safety planning and information on legal options. The charity recognizes that leaving abusive situations involves complex emotional, financial, and social barriers, and works to meet people where they are with non-judgmental support and concrete tools for moving forward.
