ADULT DISABLED DOWNHILL SKIING (A.D.D.S.)

Adult Disabled Downhill Skiing provides adaptive skiing instruction and mountain access to adults with physical disabilities across Ontario. The organization offers specialized coaching, adaptive equipment, and organized trips to ski resorts where participants develop skills while building community with other skiers. A.D.D.S. removes barriers to winter sports participation by covering program costs and arranging transportation, making skiing accessible to adults in the Toronto area and beyond who might otherwise never experience the sport. The program welcomes skiers of all ability levels, from complete beginners to advanced participants, and works with instructors trained in adaptive teaching methods suited to various disabilities including mobility impairments, visual impairments, and amputations.
