Advocates for the Rule of Law

Advocates for the Rule of Law works to strengthen legal rights and civic participation across the GTA by providing free legal information and educational workshops to residents who cannot afford traditional legal services. The organization focuses on demystifying the justice system, helping people understand their constitutional rights, and building community capacity to engage with legal processes. Through partnerships with law schools and volunteer lawyers, they deliver programs on tenant rights, employment law, family law, and immigration matters. The group particularly serves marginalized populations facing barriers to legal knowledge and representation, working to ensure that economic circumstances do not prevent individuals from accessing justice or understanding how laws affect their daily lives.
