AIR CADET LEAGUE OF CANADA, 700 DAVID HORNELL VC SQUADRON

The Air Cadet League of Canada's 700 David Hornell VC Squadron provides youth aged 12-18 in Toronto with military aviation training, leadership development, and physical fitness instruction. Members learn to fly through ground school and actual flight experience, gain hands-on knowledge of aircraft maintenance and aeronautical science, and participate in discipline-based programming that builds confidence and responsibility. The squadron operates under a military structure where cadets progress through ranks while developing teamwork and character. The organization offers opportunities for cadets to pursue post-secondary aviation careers and continues a tradition of preparing young people for leadership roles through structured activity and mentorship.
