ASIAN COMMUNITY AIDS SERVICES

Asian Community AIDS Services provides HIV testing, counseling, and support programs for people living with HIV and those at risk, with particular focus on Asian and other marginalized communities in Toronto. The organization offers peer support groups, health advocacy, and practical assistance to help clients navigate treatment, manage their health, and address barriers to care related to stigma and cultural factors. ACAS also works to increase HIV awareness and prevention education within Asian communities across the GTA through outreach, workshops, and culturally sensitive resources. By combining direct client services with community education and cultural competency, the organization addresses both the medical and social dimensions of HIV in communities that face additional obstacles in accessing support.
