BETH SHOLOM FOUNDATION

Beth Sholom Foundation provides financial support and grants to organizations across the Greater Toronto Area that serve seniors, particularly those from Jewish and multicultural backgrounds. The foundation identifies gaps in senior care and housing and funds initiatives that improve quality of life for older adults through healthcare programs, social services, and community engagement. By working with established nonprofits and emerging projects, the foundation helps expand access to palliative care, mental health support, recreational activities, and assistance for low-income seniors. The foundation's grantmaking reflects Toronto's diverse aging population and the need for culturally sensitive services that address isolation, health challenges, and housing security among vulnerable older residents.
