Black Aviation Professionals Network (BAPN) / Réseau des Professionnels de L'aviation Noire (RPNA)

Black Aviation Professionals Network builds pathways into aviation careers for Black professionals across Canada. The organization works to increase representation in the aviation industry through mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities that connect aspiring pilots, engineers, technicians, and other aviation workers with established professionals in their field. Based in Pickering and serving the Greater Toronto Area, BAPN removes barriers to entry by providing guidance on training programs, job placement support, and industry connections. The network also advocates for systemic change within aviation companies to create more inclusive hiring and advancement practices, recognizing that the aviation sector has historically underrepresented Black workers at all levels from entry-level positions to leadership roles.
