THE BOB RUMBALL FOUNDATION FOR THE DEAF
The Bob Rumball Foundation for the Deaf provides programs and services that support deaf and hard of hearing individuals in North York and across the Greater Toronto Area. The foundation offers vocational training, employment support, and counselling services to help deaf people develop skills and find work in mainstream settings. Beyond employment, the foundation runs community programs that promote independence, social connection, and quality of life for deaf residents. The organization works to break down barriers to accessibility and opportunity, recognizing that deaf individuals often face discrimination in hiring and workplace integration. By combining practical job training with advocacy for workplace accommodation, the foundation helps deaf people achieve economic stability and participate fully in their communities.
