CAMP JUMOKE
Camp Jumoke provides free arts programming and mentorship to youth from underserved communities across Toronto. The organization offers intensive summer camps, after-school workshops, and year-round classes in visual arts, music, dance, theater, and digital media. Working with young people aged 6-18, Camp Jumoke removes barriers to arts education by eliminating fees, providing transportation, and hiring teaching artists who reflect the cultural backgrounds of participants. The program emphasizes skill-building alongside personal development, helping students explore creative expression while building confidence and community connections. By making the arts accessible regardless of family income, Camp Jumoke expands opportunities for Toronto youth to discover their artistic voice and imagine creative futures.
