CANADIAN MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION/PEEL BRANCH

The Canadian Mental Health Association Peel Branch provides mental health programs and services to residents of Brampton and across Peel Region through a combination of clinical support, community education, and peer-led initiatives. The organization operates counseling services, crisis intervention, and mental wellness workshops while actively reducing stigma around mental illness through public awareness campaigns and training programs. Staff and volunteers work with individuals, families, and communities to address anxiety, depression, substance use, and other mental health challenges. The branch also integrates creative and expressive approaches into its programming, recognizing the role that arts and cultural activities play in mental health recovery and resilience. By connecting people to appropriate resources and fostering peer support networks, the organization strengthens mental health capacity throughout Peel Region.
