THE CENTRE FOR ABORIGINAL MEDIA (ONTARIO)

The Centre for Aboriginal Media in Ontario produces and distributes Indigenous-created media across television, film, radio, and digital platforms. The organization develops programming that reflects First Nations, Inuit, and Métis perspectives and stories, while also providing training and resources to Indigenous creators and broadcasters. By supporting Indigenous voices in media production, the Centre helps shape how Indigenous peoples are represented in Canadian culture and builds capacity within Toronto's Aboriginal communities. The organization works to ensure Indigenous stories are told by Indigenous people themselves, creating pathways for emerging artists and established creators to develop their craft and reach audiences.
