CENTRE FOR ADDICTION AND MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health Foundation raises funds to support the clinical care, research, and community programs of one of North America's largest mental health and addiction treatment providers. Operating across Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, the foundation directs donations toward expanding access to specialized services for individuals struggling with substance use disorders, mood and anxiety conditions, schizophrenia, and other mental illnesses. The foundation supports both in-patient and out-patient care, youth and family services, and initiatives addressing the social determinants of mental health including housing and employment. It also funds cutting-edge research into the causes and treatments of mental health and addiction conditions, as well as knowledge translation efforts that bring evidence-based approaches into community settings. Through its grantmaking, the foundation addresses gaps in service availability and helps remove barriers that prevent people from accessing the care they need.
