CENTRE FOR CIVIC ENGAGEMENT

The Centre for Civic Engagement builds the capacity of Toronto residents to participate actively in their communities and civic life. The organization offers programs, training, and resources that help people develop leadership skills, understand how to influence local decision-making, and organize around issues that matter to them. Through workshops, mentorship, and direct community organizing support, the Centre strengthens the ability of individuals and groups to advocate for themselves and their neighbourhoods. The organization works across the Greater Toronto Area with particular focus on underrepresented populations who face barriers to civic participation, ensuring that diverse voices shape the decisions that affect their lives.
