CHILDREN'S INTERNATIONAL SUMMER VILLAGES (CANADA) METROPOLITAN TORONTO CHAPTER

The Children's International Summer Villages (CISV) Metropolitan Toronto Chapter runs international youth exchange programs that bring together young people from different countries and backgrounds. The organization sends Canadian children abroad and hosts visiting youth groups in the Greater Toronto Area, with participants living together in small villages where they learn about different cultures, languages, and perspectives through shared daily life and structured educational activities. By creating friendships across borders and fostering cross-cultural understanding, CISV helps young people develop empathy and global awareness during formative years. The Toronto chapter recruits local families and volunteers to support these exchanges and organizes year-round fundraising and cultural events for the region's youth community.
