Circle Foundation

Circle Foundation distributes grants to nonprofits serving vulnerable populations across the Greater Toronto Area. The foundation identifies community organizations working in education, health care, social services, and poverty alleviation, then provides funding to expand their programs and reach. Based in Thornhill, Circle Foundation operates by reviewing grant applications from vetted charities, evaluating their impact on local communities, and releasing capital to those addressing gaps in regional services. The foundation works with established nonprofits and emerging initiatives, helping them strengthen operations, hire staff, purchase equipment, or launch new initiatives. By directing resources to frontline organizations, Circle Foundation strengthens the social safety net for people facing economic hardship, illness, or limited opportunity in the GTA.
