CONTINUUM CONTEMPORARY MUSIC ENSEMBLE

Continuum Contemporary Music Ensemble performs and promotes new classical music in North York and across the Greater Toronto Area. The ensemble commissions and presents works by contemporary composers, ranging from emerging artists to established figures, through concerts and educational events. By programming new pieces alongside twentieth-century classics, Continuum introduces audiences to living composers and expanding musical idioms. The ensemble also offers workshops and masterclasses that connect musicians and listeners directly with the creative process behind contemporary classical works. Through regular performances in accessible venues, Continuum builds audiences for modern concert music and provides performance opportunities for instrumentalists specializing in contemporary repertoire.
