ELDERWOOD FOUNDATION

The Elderwood Foundation distributes grants to community organizations across Toronto and the GTA that address seniors' needs. The foundation focuses on funding programs that improve quality of life for older adults, including housing support, healthcare access, social engagement, and assistance with activities of daily living. Rather than operating programs directly, Elderwood identifies and supports existing nonprofits doing effective work in these areas. The foundation prioritizes funding for underserved populations and encourages applicants working with low-income seniors, isolated individuals, and those facing health challenges.
