Engage and Change

Engage and Change works with grassroots organizations and community leaders across Toronto to strengthen local capacity and drive social change from within neighbourhoods. The foundation provides funding, strategic support, and connections to help community groups address issues ranging from youth development and food security to housing and mental health. Rather than imposing top-down solutions, Engage and Change listens to what residents identify as priorities in their own communities and backs local leaders who understand their neighbourhoods best. The foundation believes change happens when people closest to problems have the resources and autonomy to shape their own solutions. Through grants, convenings, and partnerships, Engage and Change amplifies the work of Toronto organizations that might otherwise struggle to access funding or visibility.
