FEDERATION OF ONTARIO NATURALISTS

The Federation of Ontario Naturalists connects people across the Greater Toronto Area with the natural world through field trips, workshops, and educational programming. The organization operates local naturalist clubs that focus on observing and learning about birds, plants, insects, and other wildlife through hands-on exploration. Members participate in citizen science projects, seasonal nature walks, and habitat restoration efforts throughout Ontario. The Federation maintains a network of volunteer naturalists who share expertise in ornithology, botany, entomology, and ecology while building community among those who study nature. The organization advocates for conservation and environmental protection while fostering an appreciation for natural spaces and biodiversity in the region.
