The Freethought Association of Canada promotes secular values and advocates for the separation of religious doctrine from public institutions. Based in Etobicoke, the organization works across the GTA and beyond to advance rational thinking, scientific literacy, and individual freedom of conscience. Through educational programs, public engagement, and policy advocacy, the association challenges religious influence in schools, government, and law while supporting people who have left religious communities. The organization also provides a community space for non-religious Canadians to connect and discuss philosophical and ethical questions outside religious frameworks. Its work includes publishing materials, hosting speakers and events, and supporting secular perspectives in public discourse.
