Fu-Gen Theatre Company produces plays that centre the stories and experiences of Asian Canadian artists and communities. Based in Toronto, the theatre company creates original works, adaptations, and commissioned pieces that reflect the diversity of Asian Canadian perspectives while building opportunities for Asian Canadian theatre makers to work as playwrights, directors, designers, and performers. The company presents productions that challenge stereotypes and expand the narrative landscape of Canadian theatre, while also offering workshops, mentorship programs, and community engagement initiatives that strengthen the theatre ecosystem across the GTA.
