The Gear Foundation

The Gear Foundation distributes sports equipment and athletic wear to youth in underserved Toronto communities who lack access to recreational programs and resources. The foundation collects donated gear from individuals, schools, and corporations, then provides it to young people aged 5 to 18 through partnerships with community centers, schools, and social service agencies across the GTA. By removing financial barriers to sports participation, the foundation helps kids build confidence, develop healthy habits, and connect with peers. The organization also funds scholarships for youth who want to participate in organized sports leagues but cannot afford registration fees or transportation costs.
