THE HEALING CYCLE FOUNDATION
The Healing Cycle Foundation provides recreational cycling programs for children and youth experiencing trauma, grief, or social isolation in Oakville and across the Greater Toronto Area. Through structured group rides, skill-building workshops, and one-on-one mentorship, the foundation uses cycling as a tool for physical activity, emotional regulation, and peer connection. Participants gain confidence while building relationships with trained volunteers and counsellors who understand trauma-informed practice. The foundation serves young people from low-income households, foster care, and those dealing with loss or mental health challenges. By removing financial barriers through free bike access and equipment, The Healing Cycle Foundation creates safe spaces where cycling becomes both a physical outlet and a pathway to resilience and belonging.
