HEART AND STROKE FOUNDATION OF ONTARIO
The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario funds research into cardiovascular disease and stroke while providing education and support services across the GTA and beyond. The organization works to prevent heart disease and stroke through public awareness campaigns, professional training programs for healthcare providers, and direct support for patients and caregivers navigating recovery. Beyond medical intervention, the foundation recognizes the importance of arts and culture in promoting emotional wellbeing for those affected by cardiac and cerebrovascular conditions. The organization partners with cultural institutions and artists to create programs that enhance quality of life, reduce isolation, and foster community connection among people living with heart disease and stroke. Through grants, research initiatives, and community engagement, the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario addresses both the physical and psychological dimensions of cardiovascular health.
