A Home From Home Association

A Home From Home Association provides safe, supportive housing and community services for youth aging out of foster care in Scarborough and across the Greater Toronto Area. The organization operates residential programs where young adults can live independently while receiving mentorship, job training, and connections to education and employment opportunities. Staff work with residents to build life skills in budgeting, cooking, and problem-solving, while also addressing the practical challenges that often emerge when youth transition from government care to adulthood. By combining stable housing with wraparound support, the association helps young people establish themselves in the community and develop the confidence needed to sustain independent living long-term.
