HONG FOOK MENTAL HEALTH FOUNDATION

Hong Fook Mental Health Foundation provides mental health services and support to Asian communities across the Greater Toronto Area. The foundation operates counseling and therapy programs, crisis intervention, and peer support groups, with culturally specific services tailored to address the unique mental health needs of Asian populations. Staff and volunteers speak multiple languages and understand the cultural contexts that affect mental wellbeing in these communities. Hong Fook also runs community education programs to reduce stigma around mental illness and increase awareness of available resources. The organization works from its base in North York to reach individuals and families navigating depression, anxiety, trauma, and other mental health challenges. By combining professional clinical care with culturally informed approaches, the foundation helps Asian residents access mental health support in ways that feel safe and relevant to their backgrounds and experiences.
