IAN ANDERSON HOUSE FOUNDATION
The Ian Anderson House Foundation provides emergency shelter and support services for homeless and at-risk individuals in Oakville and the greater Toronto area. The foundation operates a safe housing facility where vulnerable people can access beds, meals, and case management to help address the underlying causes of homelessness. Staff work with residents to connect them to mental health resources, addiction support, employment training, and permanent housing options. The foundation also runs outreach programs to meet people on the street and provide immediate assistance. By combining short-term shelter with longer-term support planning, the organization helps individuals rebuild stability and move toward independence. The foundation serves those experiencing homelessness due to job loss, family crisis, mental illness, or other hardship.
