International Medical Health Organization (Canada) supports artists and cultural workers in Toronto and across the GTA who face health barriers or medical challenges. The organization recognizes that creative professionals often lack access to affordable healthcare and mental health services, which can interrupt their careers and creative output. IMHO(C) provides medical referrals, health advocacy, and connects artists with appropriate care providers while offering peer support through community events and workshops. By addressing the health needs of cultural workers, the organization helps sustain Toronto's creative community and ensures that talent is not lost to preventable health crises or lack of support during difficult times.
