Jerusalem U runs educational and leadership programs that bring together Jewish and Muslim youth from across the Greater Toronto Area to build relationships and develop civic engagement skills. Through dialogue workshops, community service projects, and overnight retreats, participants explore their own identities while learning about different perspectives and building lasting friendships across faith lines. The organization works with schools and community centers to create safe spaces where teenagers can address difficult topics, practice respectful disagreement, and take collaborative action on local issues. By fostering understanding between young people from different backgrounds, Jerusalem U addresses polarization and builds a stronger, more connected Toronto region.
