John Cooper Learning Centre

The John Cooper Learning Centre provides educational programs and support services to adults and youth in Mississauga and the surrounding GTA who face barriers to learning and employment. The centre offers literacy instruction, numeracy skills training, English language learning, and job readiness preparation delivered through both classroom-based and individualized tutoring approaches. Staff work with learners to build foundational academic skills while addressing practical challenges that prevent access to education and work opportunities. The organization serves low-income residents, newcomers, and adults returning to learning after extended absences. By strengthening core competencies in reading, writing, and mathematics, the centre helps participants gain confidence and move toward employment or further education pathways.
