Kehillat Mayim Chaim

Kehillat Mayim Chaim operates an animal sanctuary in Burlington that provides permanent refuge for abused, neglected, and unwanted animals. The organization rescues horses, rabbits, chickens, goats, and other farm animals from dangerous situations, offering them veterinary care, proper nutrition, and safe living environments. The sanctuary serves as both a rescue facility and an educational space where visitors from across the GTA can learn about proper animal care and ethical treatment. Staff and volunteers work daily to rehabilitate animals physically and behaviorally before placing them in adoptive homes when possible, or providing lifelong care for those unable to be rehomed.
