THE LAST HARVEST MINISTRY

The Last Harvest Ministry operates a food rescue and distribution program across Scarborough, collecting surplus food from retailers, restaurants, and farms that would otherwise go to waste and redirecting it to people experiencing food insecurity. Working directly with local community partners, the organization delivers fresh produce, proteins, and pantry staples to families, seniors, and individuals who struggle to afford adequate meals. The ministry also runs nutrition education workshops and cooking classes to help people build skills around meal preparation and food budgeting. By connecting available food with people in need, The Last Harvest Ministry addresses both hunger and food waste in the Greater Toronto Area.
