MitoCanada Foundation

MitoCanada Foundation supports the creation and presentation of contemporary dance and physical theatre across Ontario and beyond. The organization funds artists and companies working in movement-based performance, provides resources for emerging choreographers, and produces events that bring experimental physical theatre to audiences. Based in Oakville, the foundation recognizes dance and movement as vital forms of cultural expression and works to strengthen the infrastructure supporting artists in this field. Through grants, commissions, and programming, MitoCanada helps sustain a vibrant community of dancers, performers, and creators who push the boundaries of what physical theatre can achieve.
