NATIVE EARTH PERFORMING ARTS INCORPORATED

Native Earth Performing Arts produces and presents theatre created by Indigenous artists and storytellers. The organization commissions new works, develops emerging Indigenous playwrights and performers, and presents productions that centre Indigenous voices, perspectives, and narratives on stage. Based in Toronto, Native Earth operates a performance space and workshop facilities where Indigenous artists develop their craft and share their work with audiences across the GTA. The organization works to increase the visibility of Indigenous artists in Canadian theatre, create employment and professional development opportunities, and build audiences who engage with contemporary Indigenous performance. Native Earth's programming includes full-scale productions, readings, artist residencies, and community engagement activities that connect Indigenous communities with theatre as both art form and cultural expression.
