New Horizons Band of Toronto

New Horizons Band of Toronto provides music education and performance opportunities for adults aged 55 and older across the Greater Toronto Area. The organization operates instrumental music classes and ensemble groups where older adults learn to play instruments, develop new skills, and perform together in concerts and community events. Many participants have never played music before or haven't played since childhood. By making music accessible and age-appropriate, the band combats isolation, strengthens cognitive function, and builds meaningful friendships among participants.
