OCASI - Ontario Council of Agencies Serving Immigrants

Legal name: OCASI-ONTARIO COUNCIL OF AGENCIES SERVING IMMIGRANTS

OCASI brings together more than 100 immigrant-serving agencies across Ontario to strengthen their work and amplify their voices in policy discussions. The council coordinates collaborative initiatives that address gaps in settlement services, employment support, housing assistance, and mental health care for immigrants and refugees. By convening member organizations, OCASI identifies emerging needs and develops resources to help agencies serve newcomers more effectively. The network operates across Toronto and throughout the province, enabling smaller organizations to share best practices and advocate collectively for policy changes that improve outcomes for the thousands of immigrants settling in Ontario each year. OCASI's work ensures that the diverse needs of newcomers are reflected in government priorities and service planning across the region.
