ONTARIO LAND TRUST ALLIANCE INC.

The Ontario Land Trust Alliance works to protect natural spaces and agricultural land across Ontario by supporting and coordinating a network of local land trusts. These organizations acquire and steward properties through conservation easements and direct ownership, preserving forests, wetlands, meadows, and farmland for future generations. The alliance provides training, resources, and advocacy to help member trusts operate effectively and expand their conservation work. With land trusts active throughout the Greater Toronto Area and beyond, the alliance strengthens their collective ability to address habitat loss, support biodiversity, and maintain green spaces as urban and rural development pressures increase. The organization brings together dozens of trusts to share knowledge, coordinate regional efforts, and advance land conservation as a key strategy for environmental protection in the province.
