ONTARIO PARAPLEGIC FOUNDATION
Ontario Paraplegic Foundation provides direct support and advocacy for people living with spinal cord injuries across the Greater Toronto Area and beyond. The foundation offers grants for equipment, home modifications, rehabilitation services, and living expenses to help individuals maintain independence and quality of life after injury. Beyond financial assistance, the organization connects people with peer support networks, coordinates specialized rehabilitation programs, and works to remove barriers that prevent full participation in community life. The foundation also funds research into spinal cord injury recovery and pushes for policy changes that improve accessibility and rights for people with paralysis. By combining emergency assistance with long-term support, Ontario Paraplegic Foundation helps individuals rebuild their lives after catastrophic injury.
