ONTARIO SHORES FOUNDATION FOR MENTAL HEALTH

Ontario Shores Foundation for Mental Health supports mental health services and research through the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences in Whitby. The foundation raises funds to expand psychiatric care, develop community mental health programs, and advance clinical excellence in the Greater Toronto Area. It works to improve access to treatment for individuals experiencing serious mental illness, mood disorders, and other mental health conditions. The foundation funds equipment, infrastructure upgrades, professional training, and innovative care models that benefit both inpatients and outpatients. By directing resources to a major regional mental health institution, Ontario Shores Foundation helps bridge gaps in the mental health system and enables the centre to serve more people across the GTA who need specialized psychiatric assessment and care.
