Oshawa Civic Band Inc.

The Oshawa Civic Band performs and teaches classical wind band music to audiences throughout the Greater Toronto Area and Durham Region. The organization maintains a concert band of volunteer musicians and offers educational programs that introduce young people to instrumental music and ensemble performance. The band presents public concerts several times each year, ranging from traditional band repertoire to contemporary pieces, and participates in community events in Whitby and surrounding areas. By combining performance with music education, the band works to develop musicians of all skill levels and foster appreciation for live instrumental music in the region.
